Boost Your Business By Giving Testimonials
Print This Post
If you have spent any time investigating internet marketing products, you have probably come across the name Joe Vitale. I don’t even know what this guy writes or does, but he sure writes a review for every top product that comes out! It seems like some top marketers spend most of their time jabbering about OTHER people’s products. Why? Because it’s highly profitable!
When you give a personal testimonial to another marketer and they use it in their campaign, you are in fact gaining valuable advertising space for free. This is because they will usually include your website along with your glowing words, giving you some prime real estate and a new stream of visitors. Since there’s nothing like free advertising, this is a strategy that can quickly give your bottom line a boost.
What can you do to get this kind of gig?
- Don’t be shy!
If you have had a great experience with a product or service, let the person you bought from know about it!
- Polish that prose.
Marketers want to use the most compelling testimonials possible, so do your best to emphasize a key benefit and use the techniques from right here in this guide to write a great testimonial.
Include a recent photo of yourself, your full name, and a URL. This brings attention to your testimonial, gives you credibility, and will send curious visitors to your site!
- Become a beta tester.
Product creators often take on beta testers for the specific purpose of proving their methods and gaining rock-solid testimonials. If you get in on this stage, you can develop a personal relationship with the creator and greatly improve the chances that your testimonial will be used.
- Develop relationships.
Though internet marketing is an extremely competitive field, top marketers tend to develop relationships with one another and take part in each other’s product launches, etc. Obviously you won’t be hob-nobbing with the cream of the crop right out of the gate, but you can get started by reaching out to other people on your level that are also interested in mutually beneficial relationships.
- Take the extra step.
If you put in the small effort required to make your testimonial effective and easy to use, you’ll have a much better chance of having it featured on a website. Whatever you do, whether it’s writing a shining testimonial, recording an audio, or even shooting a video, make sure all of your information is in one package and ready to be uploaded immediately.
So there you have it. By simply reviewing other people’s products, you can bring a new stream of visitors to your website. It’s as simple as that!
