Have you given up on finding a work at home job? Do you think you’ve exhausted all the opportunities? Have you thrown in the towel?

I frequently see members of work at home forums that have pretty much given up all hope in finding their dream to work from home. As I read these messages, I can almost see the cry of despare leaping off the pages.

This brings me to the reason for writing on this topic today. Maybe you really haven’t explored all of the ideas and opportunities. How many options are there?

There are several ways you can work from home, even if you don’t have any experience. Don’t panic! The possibilities are really endless. Work at home potential is becoming more and more evident in today’s society.

Listed below are ten ways you can make money from home. Granted…not all of these options will yield instant profit. Some of these will take some time, patience, and motivation to see yourself “in the black.”

1. Affiliate Programs

Affiliate programs are where you are paid a commission for selling someone else’s products. These programs literally clutter the Internet. They are not difficult to find and promote. With some of them, you also earn for referring other members.

2. MLM

MLM stands for multi-level marketing. There is much controversy over this option. A lot of folks have had some heavy, heated debates over MLM. Oftentimes, it is difficult to choose the legitimate ones over the scams. A lot of them are merely pyramid schemes and are not sustainable. The Federal Trade Commission offers advice for potential MLM members to help them identify those which are likely to be pyramids.

With multi-level marketing, you as a distributor would earn commissions off of your sale efforts as well as the efforts of your downline (the people that join under you). With MLM, it is imperative to have an active downline…the more members in your downline, the more you will earn. Use caution when considering this money-making option. Spend the extra time to do some research.

3. Home Business

Do you wish to start a home business or join a home business? Home business means selling. You could join perhaps Watkins, Tupperware, or Avon. This is definitely one of the options where you will not see instant profits. But, there are many online business owners who are and have experienced big success. The secret is loving what you do and having a passion for your products. That’s what it takes to sell.

You can do this too. Maybe you love scrapbooking or jewelry making. There you go…start a business with it. This option just takes a little bit of time to get established. Also, you will need to determine if you have the time and money to invest. There are several ideas to explore, put your thinking cap on.

4. Telecommute Jobs

A telecommute job, or work at home job is where you are hired by an employer of a legitimate company to perform a specific job for a set wage. Among these job types are customer service, transcription, data entry, admin assistant, and others. You will find these companies easily by searching on Google, job boards, and message boards.

5. Get Paid To Offer A Service

Do you have graphic designer skills? Do you have skills in web design? Perhpas you have skills with designing greeting cards. The list could go on and on.

These are all services that you can be paid for. You can set up a website and sell your services. Many are doing this and are very successful with it.

6. Writing

There are many writing opportunities online. There are websites where you can get paid for just writing articles.

Many site and blog owners are looking for writers to write content for them. They simply don’t have the time to do it themselves so they rely on outsourcing. There are also people or businesses that require freelance writers or ghost writers. If you’re exceptionally good at writing, you stand a chance at getting paid for writing short stories, or maybe even books.

7. Paid Blogging

You may be surprised at how many blog owners who would be willing to pay you for writing blog entries. If you like to write and blog, then this would be a good fit for you. Go for it! Blogs are becoming more popular on the Internet today. Also, many are converting their websites over to blogs.

8. Paid Surveys

I hear of many people having success with doing paid surveys everyday. They are sometimes time-consuming and you need to be selective in choosing the right ones. The rule of thumb with paid surveys is, refrain from joining ones that charge a fee. There are many free ones out there.

9. Paid To Read Emails

There is much controversy over this option as well. But the truth is, there really are legitimate paid to read sites that you can make some money with…if this is what you choose to do. Join several different sites and be consistent. Generally, you won’t get rich reading emails, but you can make a nice handful of cash.

10. Selling Goods/Products on eBay And Craigslist

Do you have products to sell? Do you have items around your home that you simply don’t need or have use for anymore? Old records, home decor, jewelry. It could be anything. This could be some easy, fast income for you.
